The Divided Flatworm
The Divided Flatworm is an aquatic animal, that is completely flat. They are easily recognized by their unique pattern, printed on the backside of the creature. Flatworms can reach up to about 8 cm. in length, and reside mainly in reefs in 5 to 20 meters of water. Because of its lack of complex tissue to be used for breathing, the divided flatworm is shaped to optimize the surface area it can use for diffusion. The flatworm respires just like the other members of the Platyhelminthes phylum.
