Earthworm
The earthworm is a tube-shaped, segmented annelid that lives in soil, feeding on live and dead organic matter, that is very common all around the world. Earthworms have no specific respiratory organs, but breath through their skin. Gases are exchanged through the moist skin and capillaries, where the oxygen is picked up by the hemoglobin present in the worm's blood and carbon dioxide is released. Water as well as salts can also be moved through the skin by this method as well.
